Road to close for Wolverhampton street party this weekend - see alternative route

There will be a temporary road closure in Wolverhampton due to a street party this Saturday (July 18).

Between 12pm and 8pm, Church Hill Road will be shut between the junctions of Clifton Road and Lloyd Road.

This is to make way for a street party in the area, Wolverhampton Council said.

Anyone travelling should use Clifton Road and Lloyd Road and vice versa instead.

In an X post, Wolverhampton Council said: “A street party means the temporary closure of Church Hill Road, between the junctions of Clifton Road and Lloyd Road, tomorrow (Saturday July 18) between noon and 8pm. Diversion: Clifton Road and Lloyd Road and vice versa.”
