Police respond to incident near Wolverhampton pub as man taken away in van
West Midlands Police have been approached for comment
Four police vehicles responded to an incident outside a pub in Wolverhampton on Thursday evening.
Three dispatch cars and a police van were seen driving with blue lights down the Bridgnorth Road in Compton at around 19.40 on July 2.
They were responding to a call made from The Mermaid pub at the bottom of Wightwick Bank, where one man was taken away in the back of the van.
The reason for their presence has yet to be determined, but the Express and Star have approached West Midlands Police for a comment.
