Dessert beers and festival fun as Black Country brewery gets ready to celebrate seventh birthday
There will be dessert beers aplenty as a popular brewery celebrates its birthday with two days of festival fun.
A brewery famed for an innovative line of dessert and sweet beers will be welcoming the community to its birthday celebration.
New Invention Brewery will be holding a two-day celebration of its seventh birthday as it announced the return of Scoop Fest.
Taking pace on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, the event is a chance for the popular brewery and taproom to thank its community for its support and provide a selection of dessert beers, with existing favourites and new creations available to try.
These include smoothie beers, pastry stouts and ice cream-themed drinks, as well as a wide selection of guest beers, and there will also be food on sale both days, with pizza on the Friday and Greek and Mediterranean BBQ on the Saturday.

Owner Karol Kawecki said the beers were very unique due to being very fruity and diverse and said they reflected his own tastes.
He said: "We have our signature scoop series, like our ice cream-inspired beers, and we use a fruit puree within them that people really seem to love and which are popular in bars across the country.
"We sell casks of our beer across the country and we've become very popular at beer festivals and have done a few in Birmingham and intend to do a few more as we love them.”
A message on the New Invention Brewery Facebook page announced the event and invited the community to come and help celebrate its birthday.

The message read: “Scoop Fest returns on June 5 & 6 as we celebrate seven years of New Invention Brewery with our biggest dessert beer weekend yet.
“Expect brand new Scoop creations, returning favourites, ridiculous festival specials and guest dessert beers from some of the best breweries in the UK.
“We’ve got thick smoothie beers, ice cream-inspired madness, big pastry stouts and loads of one-off pours lined up for the weekend.
“There will be fresh pizzas on Friday, Greek & Mediterranean BBQ from Grills Grills Grills on Saturday, special guest beers and birthday weekend chaos.”
