Once operational, the energy recovery facility will process non-recyclable waste and generate enough electricity to power around 90,000 homes, while helping to reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill. The development is also expected to create skilled jobs and support wider regeneration of the former industrial site.

The latest footage highlights the scale of the transformation, with significant progress visible across the development compared with earlier stages of construction.
