Audi Cabriolet owned by Diana, Princess of Wales to go on sale
Car comes with complete history file and images of Diana driving the car

An Audi Cabriolet formerly owned by Diana, Princess of Wales is heading to auction.
The car, which will be sold at the Blenheim Palace auction in Oxfordshire on July 15, was presented to the princess for her personal use by Dovercourt Audi deal in St. John’s Wood, London. The 1994 Cabriolet comes with a complete history file and even pictures of Diana driving the car.
The convertible features a 2.6-litre V6 engine that produced 150bhp when new. No exact mileage figures for this particular car have been made available, but the listing gives an estimated 35-40,000 miles. Bidding will start at £25,000.
The Audi is not the only notable car for sale at the auction, with others including a 1962 Bentley S2 Continental, 1968 Jaguar E-Type, 1972 Porsche 2.4S and a 1966 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2.
In order to allow bidders from all over the world to participate, auction organisers Coys of Kensington has partnered with Proxibid, an online bidding service that specialises in valuable goods.
