Motorcyclists can get with vital road safety information at the weekend when Staffordshire Safer Roads Partnership is hosting a series of events which will be brimming with biker-related advice.
The sessions are part of a drive to save lives on the roads and maintain Staffordshire's record of having the safest roads in the country.
County Councillor Mike Maryon, cabinet member for highways and transport, who is also an experienced rider, said: "We're trying to help bikers to think ahead and enjoy the thrills without the spills.
"The latest figures show there were 284 bikers injured in 2010 on Staffordshire's roads, even though they only represent one per cent of traffic.
"Unfortunately, many of these accidents result in devastating and life changing injuries which is why it is a top priority for the county council and its partners to get this vital road safety information out to motorcyclists."
