Motorists warned to expect diversions in Brierley Hill after crash blocks road
The collision saw the road blocked and buses diverted.
Motorists and travellers in Brierley Hill have been left facing delays and diversions after a collision.
AA Traffic News said that the A461 Dudley Road leading into the town had been blocked due the crash in both directions between Bent Street and Victoria Street.
It said a detour was in operation/
A spokesman for AA Traffic News said: “The road is blocked and traffic heavier than normal due to a crash on the A461 Dudley Road both ways from Bent Street to Victoria Street.
“A detour in operation.”
National Express West Midlands said that two services were being diverted due to the incident along Level Street and Waterfront Way.
A spokesman for National Express West Midlands said: “The High Street in Brierley Hill is closed due to an emergency incident.
“The 6 and X10 services will be diverting via Level Street and Waterfront Way.”
