Motorists and commuters warned of delays after crash on Wolverhampton road

A collision on a Wolverhampton road has led to delays for drivers and commuters.
The collision occurred on the A454 Willenhall Road just before 4pm at the junction with Hickman Avenue and left the road partially blocked.
West Midlands Roads has advised motorists to plan ahead due to delays.
A spokesman for West Midlands Roads said: “At the A454 Willenhall Road near junction with Hickman Avenue in Wolverhampton, the road is partially blocked due to a collision.
“Expect delays on surrounding roads in the area. Plan your journey ahead.”
A spokesman for National Express West Midlands said: “Due to a road closure on Willenhall Road, the following services are diverting: 82 via Wednesfield Road and Deans Road 529 via Stowheath Lane and Bilston Road.”
