Buses diverted as emergency tree works take place on Wolverhampton street

A key bus route for Wolverhampton is being diverted this week as emergency tree works are underway.

These works are currently underway as of Tuesday (March, 17) and are expected to continue up until this Thursday (March, 19).

Wolverhampton Council has shared that these emergency tree works have meant that there this road closure is 'temporary'. 

They shared the news on a social media post.

As part of these, emergency tree works, the number 43 bus has been diverted onto Dudley Road, Drayton Street, Lower Villiers Street and vice versa. 

On the street, road signs are in place also warning pedestrians that the 'footway' is closed on a section of Mason Street.
