Signed Wolves 1921 FA Cup final and 1966 World Cup final programmes among items in major Staffordshire auction
Rare football programmes from Wolves' FA Cup final with Tottenham Hotspur and the 1966 World Cup final are set to be auctioned in Staffordshire this week.
Cuttlestones' Specialist Collectors Auction on Thursday (March 12) will feature an exceptional line-up of pre-and post-war football memorabilia.
Among the 25 carefully curated lots is a true piece of footballing history - a 1966 World Cup final programme from England's iconic victory over West Germany at Wembley.

The programme is signed by 10 members of the England squad who played that day, along with manager Sir Alf Ramsey and then Prime Minister Harold Wilson.
Equally eye‑catching is a Wolves vs Tottenham Hotspur 1921 FA Cup final programme, signed by the entire Spurs team and their manager.
Cuttlestones says such early 20th‑century programmes are "increasingly scarce, particularly examples so well autographed".
Football fans may also be drawn to other standout programmes, including:
Wolves vs Everton programmes from the 1904/05 and 1905/06 seasons
Wolves vs Arsenal programmes spanning 1935/36 to 1938/39
Wolves vs Everton programmes from 1920/21 through to 1938/39, including an example signed by Tommy Lawton
Wolves vs Chelsea programmes from the 1936/37 and 1937/38 seasons
Other highlights include complete folders of Wolves home and away programmes from the 1949/50 and 1950/51 seasons, featuring autographs from Roy Swinbourne, Stanley Matthews, Dennis Compton, Ronnie Allen and Peter Broadbent.
International memorabilia is also well represented. Programmes from the 1958 World Cup - including Brazil fixtures - the 1954 Brazil vs Hungary quarter‑final, Northern Ireland vs West Germany (signed by Peter McParland), Hungary vs Wales (Wales' first ever World Cup match), and the 1937 Scotland vs England British Home Championship clash at Hampden Park - notable for its record European international crowd of more than 149,000 - will all go under the hammer.

The full catalogue, complete with descriptions, photographs and estimates, is available to view online via Cuttlestones’ website.
Viewing will take place at the Penkridge saleroom on Wednesday, March 11, between 10am and 4pm, and again on the morning of the sale, Thursday, March 12, between 9am and 10am. Free parking is available adjacent to the saleroom.
Live online bidding, commission bids and telephone bidding options are also available. For further information, call 01785 714905 or email office@cuttlestones.co.uk.
