'New and improved' Greggs opens in Wolverhampton city centre

Wolverhampton city centre has welcomed a 'new and improved' Greggs.

The beloved bakery chain opened a large new shop at 56 Dudley Street yesterday (February 13) having relocated from just up the road at 3 Dudley Street.

As well as sausage rolls, the new store has also brought one new job to the area, and Greggs bosses say they are 'excited' to welcome customers to the improved shop.

Gillian Long, retail operations director for Greggs, said: "We're excited to be welcoming customers to our new and improved shop in Wolverhampton, with one new member joining the existing team.

"We look forward to providing customers with a modern, convenient new place to experience their Greggs favourites."

The new shop, with plenty of in-store seating, will also sell a range of hot and cold drinks, including from the new iced matcha range.

The store opens from 7am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and 8.30am to 6pm on Sunday.
