Wolverhampton gets extra festive as hundreds prepare for Winter Wonderland opening
Wolverhampton's Winter Wonderland is only hours away from opening, creating a magical experience for all to see
Hundreds of festive VIP ticket holders are expected to turn out for the first day of Wolverhamtpon's magical Winter Wonderland experience.
The first night of the event will see all those who purchased VIP tickets given access to Wolverhampton's Market Square, which has been transformed into a magical Christmas wonderland that would make even Father Christmas jealous.
The Christmas experience event will see an assortment of rides of all shapes and sizes placed in the square, with food and drink sellers providing everything from burgers to german sausages and warm spiced wine.
Thousands of people are expected to visit the festive event over the Christmas period, which will also include a full-sized ice rink and entertainment quarter.
