Man accused of murdering young father in Wolverhampton appears in court again

A 20-year-old accused of murdering Paulius Petrasiunas in Wolverhampton has appeared at the city's crown court.

Sean Bulle is charged with murdering the 24-year-old father, who was stabbed to death in Chervil Rise, in Heath Town, on July 13.

Bulle, of Clover Ley, Heath Town, is also charged with carrying a machete that day without lawful authority.

He appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody ahead of a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 21.

A trial date has been set for April 12 next year.

Meanwhil, a fundraising campaign launched to help pay for Mr Petrasiunas’s funeral costs has now reached more than £5,000.

Heartbroken relatives described Mr Petrasiunas, nicknamed “Polo” and originally from Lithuania, as a “kind, loving and humble” father with a young son.
