Rayun Sanghera from Wolverhampton has gained more than 10,000 followers on Instagram under his brand name Lil RayRay.

The five-year-old has spent his time at home on lockdown from Wolverhampton Royal School creating video content which has been liked and shared by thousands of people worldwide.

It started as an idea between Rayun and his dad Nick, where they came up with doing a funny, but also serious, video to tell people to stay home during coronavirus.

In the video, Rayun urged people to follow guidelines so everyone could all be safe and the quicker that is done, the quicker he could go back to school to see his friends.

Since then, Rayun has created a number of videos and sketches, which has ranged from fighting with his sister Amara to interviewing Prince Harry and Megan.

It also led to a charity fundraiser to collect money for Birmingham Children's Hospital, with Lil RayRay doing a live Q&A on Instagram on July 4.

The Q&A saw hundreds of questions come in from followers around the world and saw more than £6,000 raised as a result.

His father Nick has worked to think up videos and content that Rayun could do and spends a lot of time videoing and producing the clips, then posting them to Instagram.

He said it had brought him and his son closer together as they had spent so much time together during lockdown.

Nick, who manages Rayun's Instagram page, said it was great to see his son making such a difference to so many people.

He said: "He's a very grounded and good boy and I know he's very proud of what he's been doing with these videos.

"I'm just extremely pleased of the fact that someone so young is making such a difference to the world.

"We've had so much good feedback about the videos, with one person telling us that her mum has severe depression, but when she watches his videos, she starts laughing.

"There's a lot of negativity out there, so it's nice to know there's something that can put a smile on people's faces."
