Police launch appeal after man suffers facial injuries after being knocked unconscious in Darlaston

West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked and knocked unconscious in Darlaston last weekend.

The man, who is in in his 40s, was discovered with facial injuries near the junction of Alma Street and Willenhall Street in Darlaston on the morning of Sunday, September 7.

Following enquiries police understand he was assaulted by up to three men, who took his watch, shortly after 10pm on Saturday.

The attackers are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.

Police said they had discovered a significant amount of cannabis.
Martin Brown, 39 has been charged with one count of theft

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening and West Midlands Police say they are keen to hear from anyone who can help identify those involved.
