'Avoid the area': Walsall street closed as fire crews respond to 'liquid nitrogen leak'
Fire crews are in attendance at an incident on Western Way in Walsall where there has been a 'liquid nitrogen leak'
West Midlands Fire Service posted on X at 1.20pm saying they had sent crews to Western Way in Moxley, Walsall to respond to an 'incident.'
The road is currently closed and people are advised to avoid the area if possible.



Fire crews at the scene told the Express & Star that the incident was caused by a leak of liquid nitrogen. He said that when the chemical hits the air it turns into white steam.
West Midlands Fire Service have been approached for further comment.
