Walsall town centre has come alive with delicious aromas and tasty flavours as the first day of the 'Continental Street Market' gets underway. 

The food market, which runs from Wednesday to Friday, gives visitors, locals and shoppers the chance to get their hands on dozens of mouth-watering cuisines, including German, Caribbean, Indian and Mexican.

As well as food, visitors are also able to get their hands on a range of artisan-crafted items, from clothing and jewellery, to collectables, bags and unique homeware. 

The continental food market is said to have become a 'loved tradition' in the town, with Walsall Deputy leader, Councillor Adrian Andrew, saying that it's 'great' to be welcoming it back this year.
