Residents enjoy fruits of £43k footpath improvement project at popular Willenhall beauty spot
Residents are making the most of footpath improvements completed to the tune of £43,000 at a popular Willenhall beauty spot.
Walkers and anglers visiting Rough Wood Local Nature Reserve in Short Heath in Willenhall are now enjoying improved access after the paths were resurfaced in October thanks to the money awarded from the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), funded by the UK Government.
Around one and a half miles of pathways have been resurfaced across the off Bentley Lane and Hunts Lane making it easier and safer for residents and nature groups to explore the parkland.
