Man charged with possessing knife after West Midlands Police officer injured in Walsall
West Midlands Police have charged a man with possessing a knife in a public place in Walsall.

Jamal Sewell, aged 21 from Walsall, has also been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He is due to appear at Dudley Magistrates Court on 11 September.
It follows an incident on Midland Road, near the town centre, on Tuesday (26 August) where an officer from the West Midlands Police force was injured and a lock knife was recovered in the area.
