Earlier this year, plans were submitted by Love Joes, a local food manufacturing company, to convert the vacant Ebenezer Methodist Church into offices.

The Lichfield Road church has a main hall and two smaller ones, toilets, store room and a kitchen.

Now the change of use application has been approved by Walsall Council, the main hall will become an open-plan office with the two smaller halls becoming a boardroom and meeting room.

Agent Paul Clifton Associates said Love Joes had outgrown its space within the current premises at the Empire Industrial Estate off Brickyard Road.

Bar minor repairs, no proposals were put forward to change the building’s interior or exterior.
