Two Black Country locals scoop life-changing prizes in online competition
Two Black Country locals have scooped life-changing prizes thanks to an online competition site.
Alec Corbett from Willenhall was left in shock after turning 59p into £100,000 in one of Hittin It Big’s competitions in May.
“It doesn’t feel real,” he said. “It’s completely life-changing – and all from a ticket that cost less than a chocolate bar!”
He said he hopes to spend his winnings on home and garden improvements, bringing his mortgage down and enjoying life with his partner.
Meanwhile, Walsall resident Justina Rakauskiene had a decision to make when she won an Audi Q7 in July.
“I took the £22,500 cash alternative,” Justina, a local business owner, said. “It was the best option for me, but I still can’t believe I actually won. It’s surreal!”
