Lichfield heroin dealer who tried to throw supply away when spotted by police jailed for three years
A heroin dealer who was caught in Lichfield has been jailed.
Damien Millis, 44, of Lichfield, was sentenced to three years imprisonment at Stafford Crown Court on Wednesday, September 24 after he admitted possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A – heroin and possessing a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine) at an earlier hearing.
Officers from Staffordshire Police's major and organised crime department stopped Millis on Stafford Road in June 2025 after he was seen acting suspiciously.

Millis tried to throw away crack cocaine that was wrapped in tin foil but was spotted by an officer.
When he was searched, police found wraps of heroin, crack, a phone with two separate SIM cards and £40 in cash.
When he was arrested and questioned, the 44-year-old originally told police that the drugs were for personal use.
However, officers found evidence that he was trying to sell the heroin after buying it in bulk.
After being charged and taken to court, Millis admitted the offences.
As part of Staffordshire Police's 'Operation Target,' more than 400 people have been arrested in connection with illegal drug offences between July 2024 and July 2025.
