Death of man found in Cannock 'unexplained' - police appeal for information
A man's body has been found in Cannock and his death is being treated as "unexplained", police said.
Staffordshire Police is appealing for information after the man, who was in his 40s, was found outside an address in Longford Road at around 4.30am on Sunday (November 30).
Paramedics were called and attempted CPR but the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "At this stage we are keeping an open mind about this incident, with the death remaining unexplained, and we are keen to establish the circumstances leading up to his death.
"The next of kin of the man, who was in his 40s, have been informed and are now being supported by specially trained officers.
"There will be an increase in the number of local police officers in the area today to provide reassurance and help gather evidence.
