'The store is looking fantastic' - Cannock Aldi store due to reopen within days after facelift
A Cannock supermarket temporarily shut for a facelift will be re-opening its doors to shoppers on Friday.
The Aldi store in Walsall Road closed on September 7 for shop floor upgrades including increased chiller space, new fridge doors to reduce energy consumption, as well as additional room for the Specialbuys aisle and modernised health & beauty and bakery aisles.

The store near the town centre employs 25 staff.
Walsall Road Aldi manager Daniel Martin says: “The store is looking fantastic and we are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.”
Last October, a new branch was opened at Cannock's Orbital Retail Park by Paralympics GB wheelchair basketball player Lee Manning.
In June, Paralympics GB swimmer Megan Richter opened a new branch in Oldbury.
