Emergency services on scene following M5 multi-vehicle collision between Oldbury and West Bromwich
Traffic has stopped on the M5 following a multi-vehicle collision between Oldbury and West Bromwich.
National Highways West Midlands have warned of traffic disruptions due to a multi-vehicle crash on the M5 between Junction 2 (Oldbury) and Junction 1 (West Bromwich).
The collision was reported by the highways group at around 7.31pm today, with the authority saying that emergency services are working at the scene.

Delays are said to be expected, with National Highways urging drivers to 'allow extra time' for travel this evening.
A National Highways West Midlands spokesperson said: "Following a multiple vehicle collision, the M5 northbound is currently blocked between J2 (Oldbury) and J1 (WestBromwich).
"Emergency services are working at the scene with traffic officers en route to assist. Please allow extra time for your journey this evening."
Traffic was released on the motorway at around 8.49pm; however, due to another collision on the same road, the M5 has now closed within Junction 1.
Traffic is now being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads.
The spokesperson added: "Traffic on the M5 northbound between Junction 2 (Oldbury) and Junction 1 (West Bromwich) has now been released.
"Due to another collision, the M5 is closed within Junction 1 and traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads.
"Further updates to follow shortly."
It is unknown yet as the injuries of those involved in the collision. Emergency services have been approached for more information.
