Two arrested after early morning crash in West Bromwich
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in in West Bromwich.
Police were alerted to an overturned vehicle in Beaconview Road, West Bromwich, just after 1.20am this morning (December 10).
Two people – a 49-year-old man and 26-year-old woman - were arrested nearby on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
They are both currently in custody for questioning.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We’re running Operation Limit in a targeted, collaborative effort bringing police forces together to tackle drink and drug driving."
