Homes evacuated as more than 100 firefighters tackled blaze at factory units in Great Bridge
More than 100 firefighters have been tackling a major blaze at an industrial unit in Great Bridge.
Twenty engines from multiple fire stations attended the fire, at GB Tyres and Tracking, Great Bridge Street, Great Bridge, near West Bromwich.

An update from the West Midlands Fire Service said its crews were "making good progress" supported by police and ambulance personnel.
"We were mobilised at 10.41am and the first of our crews arrived in just over two minutes," a spokesperson said.

"Fifteen fire engines were in attendance, along with several specialist resources including aerial ladder platforms, a high-volume pump, and a drone team."
The facility was evacuated and no casualties were reported, they added. The fire service later said it involved approximately 20 tonnes of tyres.
"Several" homes on nearby Elwell Street were evacuated "as a precaution", a spokesperson for the fire service said.
The scene of the fire is close to the busy Black Country New Road and some roads near the scene have been closed.
A further update by the fire service at 7.35pm said: "Crews continue to work hard at this protracted incident.
"Working with West Midlands Police and the local authority, we’re ensuring local residents affected by the evacuation, and businesses, are kept safe.
"A structural engineer has attended this incident and will make an assessment.
"Some fire investigations have taken place, with further investigations expected tomorrow, when it is safe to do so.
"Regular multi-agency briefings are taking place and we expect to continue to remain in attendance for some time."
