Dramatic photos show black smoke pouring into the sky from a fire in Great Bridge.

Express & Star photographer Tim Thursfield took these pictures from close to the scene of the fire, at GB Tyres and Tracking in Great Bridge, near West Bromwich.

Seventeen fire crews responded to reports of the fire at 10.41am and more than 70 firefighters have been making "good progress", the West Midlands Fire Service said.
