Police and air ambulance attend 'medical emergency' incident in Stourbridge

Police have confirmed they responded to what they are calling a 'medical incident' in Stourbridge this afternoon (Wednesday).

West Midlands Ambulance, the air ambulance and police were called to Church Avenue, near Corbett Meadow, Amblecote at around 2.30pm.

Unconfirmed posts on the Stourbridge Matters Facebook group said the driver of a van had died at the scene.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We were called to a medical incident at Corbett Meadow, Stourbridge at around 2.30pm today (Wednesday) along with our colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance and one man was treated at the scene."
