Three staff taken to hospital as West Midlands Police car crashes on M5 near Halesowen
Three members of staff are confirmed to have been taken to hospital following a single-vehicle collision involving a police car on the M5.
Emergency services have confirmed that three members of staff from West Midlands Police have been transported to hospital for injuries not believed to be serious following a crash on the M5, near Halesowen.
The crash is said to have taken place on the M5 Southbound, between Junction 3 and Junction 4, near Frankley, at 9am this morning, and involved one vehicle, a West Midlands Police car.

West Mercia Police attended the incident this morning and confirmed that an enquiry into the crash has started.
A police spokesperson said: "At around 9am this morning, we received a report of a collision involving one vehicle on the M5 Southbound, near Frankley.
"The vehicle involved was a West Midlands Police car, and enquiries are ongoing."
Three people are confirmed to have been injured in the crash, with West Midlands Ambulance Service announcing that all three were transported to hospital for their injuries.
An ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a single vehicle RTC on the M5 between Junction 3 and 4 in Frankley, Birmingham and sent three ambulances, two paramedic officers and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found three patients, who were assessed for injuries not believed to be serious before conveying them to Queen Elizabeth Hospital."
West Midlands Roads confirmed that the incident had been cleared as of 11.08am, adding that delays in the area are starting to ease.
A roads spokesperson said: "The incident on the M5 Southbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4 has been cleared, and all lanes have reopened.
"Delays should now start to clear."
West Midlands Police have confirmed that three members of staff were injured in the crash, adding that they are liaising with West Mercia Police in their investigation.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "Three members of staff have been injured following a single-vehicle collision involving a marked West Midlands Police vehicle on the M5, between junctions 3 and 4, shortly before 9am this morning.
"Their injuries are still being assessed, but are not believed to be life-threatening.
"We are liaising with West Mercia Police, who are investigating the circumstances."
