Lasting memorial planned for 'angel' Natasha as crowdfunding campaign surpasses target
A crowdfunding campaign to raise money for memorials to a Sutton Coldfield woman who died when she was struck by a car has already reached its target.
Natasha Thorp died after she was hit by a vehicle in Brassington Avenue, Sutton Coldfield on August 22.

She was out in Sutton Coldfield town centre when the vehicle struck her and her friend Cerys Cartwright, who also suffered a leg injury.
A JustGiving page was set up to fund tributes to the 21-year-old, who was described as "the most vibrant and magnetic girl who was so full of life".
Temporary tributes were placed at Brassington Avenue after the crash but now her family want to fund permanent memorials as a tribute to her.
Money from the fund will also be donated to Women's Aid. Cerys's boyfriend and four of her friends will take part in the Leicester half marathon on Saturday, October 26. A music event is also being planned on a date to be confirmed.
A message on the JustGiving page reads: "Thank you for all the continued love shown to our angel." It has already raised more than £6,000, having set a target of £5,000.
