CCTV appeal launched to find woman seen in argument with van driver in Sutton Coldfield
West Midlands Police is appealing for help to identify a woman seen in CCTV footage in the hopes of ensuring she is safe and well.
West Midlands Police received a report of a woman being involved in an argument with the driver of a van in Wiggins Hill Road, Sutton Coldfield, on June 20.
A man in his 40s was interviewed by police and later bailed, but officers investigating now want to talk to the woman involved.
The force stressed that the woman is not wanted on suspicion of a criminal offence and officers want to "make sure nothing has happened to her".
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "The woman, described as in her 30s with auburn hair, is not wanted on suspicion of a criminal offence - we are just trying to make sure nothing has happened to her.
"If you were in the area at the time and saw what happened, contact us via 101 quoting crime number 20/280906/25."
