Mr Bassi said: “This is quite a large chunk of land that extends to around 35,038 sq ft, which equates to more than 0.8 of an acre.

“The site is located just off the roundabout where Icknield Street meets Boulton Middleway, which is part of the Birmingham Ring Road, just off the Hockley Flyover.

“Because this land lies just inside the ring road, it forms part of the city’s Clean Air Zone.

“The land is close to the Jewellery Quarter and just a few minutes’ walk away from the Jewellery Quarter train station.”

The Jewellery Quarter is home to more than 100 jewellery retailers, diamond and precious metal dealers and workshops, plus the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. There are also lots of independent businesses, trendy bars, diverse restaurants and art galleries in the vibrant area.

The site will be among score of lots featuring in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 8.30am and which will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
