Halesowen restaurant closes after diner tests positive for Covid-19
A Black Country restaurant has had to close for two weeks after a diner tested positive for coronavirus.
Balti Towers, in Long Lane, Halesowen, say the diner visited the restaurant on September 2.
The restaurant will close for two weeks for a deep clean, while any staff who came into contact with the diner will also self-isolate.
Bosses also urged any customers who had visited between September 2 and 5 to also self-isolate.
In a Facebook statement on Sunday, Balti Towers said: "To all customers despite our best efforts, the restaurant will be temporarily closed for at least two weeks for a deep clean.
"This is due to a customer testing positive to Covid-19 who dined with us on September 2. As a result, staff members who were in contact with the diner have had to self-isolate.
"We advise all customers who have dined with us since September 2 and September 5 to self-isolate.
"Thank you for understanding and we will reopen in two weeks time. Stay safe."
