Zidane and Junaid Tazeem have become successes in different areas of boxing, as well as being inspirations and leaders in their community in Walsall.

14-year-old Zidane has become a three-time National England Champion, a Tri-Nations Champion, and, most recently, won the Under-15 European Boxing Championship in Montenegro, while 24-year-old Junaid has taken on a role as coach at P4P Boxing Academy in Walsall.

The brother's father Tee Tazeem said their successes had been a great way of honouring Ali, who had been hailed as a promising prospect as a professional boxer by the likes of Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather Snr, but died in April 2022 in a road accident where he was the passenger in a car which hit a wall off Merridale Road in Chapel Ash in Wolverhampton.

Mr Tazeem said that it had been cathartic and emotional to see his younger son following in his brother's footsteps and achieving the success he had.
