Two police officers injured in West Bromwich car crash
Two police officers and a 63-year-old man were injured in a car crash this afternoon.

The officers were responding to an emergency incident when they crashed with a blue Ford Galaxy on Newton Road, in Stone Cross, West Bromwich, at the junction with Hollyhedge Road.
The road was closed after the crash at 1.30pm, and reopened 45 minutes later after the wreckage had been cleared.
Firefighters had to release the 63-year-old driver of the Ford from his car, and he and the two officers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that, in line with all collisions involving police vehicles, the circumstances of the crash would be investigated.
