It was a day of joy for students across the region as they discovered the results of two years of hard work for their A-levels.
The annual results day for A-level, BTEC and T-level students brought thousands of youngsters to schools and colleges across the Black Country, Staffordshire and Wyre Forest to find out how they had done after two years of hard work.
The colleges and schools were ready for the occasion, with many bedecked in balloons and streamers as they welcomed in their learners to get their results, with staff and teachers offering their own congratulations to the students.
We've compiled together the best of the photos from schools and colleges of students celebrating their results, capturing the moments that they realised they were going to university or beginning an apprenticeship and being able to celebrate with family, friends and their teachers.
George Salter Academy in West Bromwich saw particular success in biology, chemistry, law, English literature, film studies, art, history, geography and sociology. Students achieved A* grades in biology, chemistry, mathematics and history where all grades were A or higher.

Waseley Hills High School, based in Rubery and part of the Central Region Schools Trust, announced a strong set of A Level results for its Sixth Form students, marking a year of significant achievement and progress.


BOA Creative, Digital and Performing Arts Academy in central Birmingham saw 91 per cent of students secured triple Distinction (DDD) or higher in their chosen Level 3 arts pathway, the equivalent of AAA or above at A Level.



At Holyhead School in Birmingham, 70 per cent of students achieved Distinction*/Distinction grades in their Applied General qualifications (equivalent to A*/A as A Level grades).


Students at Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy (OSCA) were celebrating receiving their hard-earned A-level and vocational qualifications, having scored particularly highly in ICT, Art, Business Studies and Sociology.



Ormiston SWB Academy students were celebrating the rewards of their hard work after collecting their post-16 grades, with Ruhsead Jathan among the high achievers

The Hart School in Rugeley had revealed its strongest ever vocational results for its Sixth Form in three years.





Central Saint Michael's in West Bromwich achieved higher than ever pass rates with 100% pass rate in more than 30 separate courses. The Mayor of the West Midlands Richard Parker was among those helping to congratulate the students.


Sixth Form students gathered at Ormiston New Academy in Wolverhampton to receive their post-16 results, marking an important milestone in their education.
Chase Terrace Academy was celebrating the excellent success of its Year 13 pupils, who received their 2025 A-Level and BTEC results.



Colton Hills Community School in Wolverhampton saw a 100 percent pass rate in A-level subjects of Art, Economics, English Literature, Environmental Studies and Psychology, as well as in BTEC subjects like Business, E Sports, Health and Social Care, IT and Applied Science.
Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) were celebrating the outstanding achievements of the ‘Class of2025’ on A Level, T Level and BTEC results day.





Wolverhampton Royal School had some great success in Level 3 BTEC courses as well as the Level 3 Extended Project (EPQ) course which is highly valued by universities.



Celebrations were in full swing at Ormiston Forge Academy in Cradley Heath as Sixth Form students received their post-16 results.


Sixth Form students at Shireland Biomedical UTC in West Bromwich were marking a poignant milestone as they receive their long-awaited A level results, which will open the door to exciting opportunities in higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Students at Shireland Collegiate Academy in Smethwick were joined by family and friends to recognise and celebrate the commitment and hard work demonstrated by all students throughout their studies at Shireland.


St Edmund's Catholic Academy in Wolverhampton was a place of celebration as many students discovered how well they had done.
Students and staff at King Charles I School were once again celebrating an outstanding set of A Level results this summer.

Blessed William Howard students are again celebrating excellent A–level results, with particular success in English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Religious Studies, History, vocational courses, and Art.

This year’s results reflect another successful year for students at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge, including 99 per cent pass rate across a total of 2936 exams.
