The colleges and schools were ready for the occasion, with many bedecked in balloons and streamers as they welcomed in their learners to get their results, with staff and teachers offering their own congratulations to the students.

We've compiled together the best of the photos from schools and colleges of students celebrating their results, capturing the moments that they realised they were going to university or beginning an apprenticeship and being able to celebrate with family, friends and their teachers.
