Drone footage has shown how the new Lidl store being built in Wolverhampton is shaping up.
The discounter is transforming the 1.28-hectare site of the former F A Gill meat wholesaler, situated on the edge of Birmingham New Road and Parkfield Road.
The latest aerial footage shows some major progress, with the store’s floor space now clearly taking shape.
The multi-million-pound development will bring the vacant brownfield site back into use, creating up to 40 new jobs.

The new store will feature an in-store bakery, customer toilets with baby changing facilities, and the iconic Middle of Lidl aisle.
Outside, there will be rapid electric vehicle charging points, covered bicycle parking, and dedicated accessible and parent-and-child parking bays.
