Rugeley theft suspects caught on camera as a quad bike is stolen from a shed - how you can help police

Police are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen from a shed in Rugeley with suspectes captured on CCTV

CCTV images have captured quad bike theft suspects entering the grounds of a Rugeley property where an immobilised quad bike was stolen. 

Staffordshire Police were called to the scene of Birches Valley in Etchinghill, Rugeley, at 8.20am on Sunday, February 1, following reports that a quad bike had been taken from a shed.

The theft is reported to have taken place sometime between 5.30pm and 6pm on Saturday, January 31, with the force saying that the vehicle had been secured in the shed and was immobilised at the time. 

The CCTV images, released by Staffordshire Police, show a number of suspects reverse a car up the victim's driveway, before dragging the quad bike out of the shed and leaving the scene. 

One suspect is described as being a white man, wearing a black puffer jacket, black gloves, grey tracksuit bottoms and black and grey Nike trainers.

As part of the investigation, police have released images of the quad bike and a vehicle they suspect may have been involved in the theft. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident number 162 of 1 February.

A force spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information after a quad bike was stolen from a shed in Rugeley.

"We were called at 8.20am on Sunday, 1 February to Birches Valley in Etchinghill.

"A quad bike, which had been stored securely in a shed and immobilised, had been stolen.

"Anyone who recognises either vehicle should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 162 of 1 February."
