Dudley shoppers were left shocked following the launch of an investigation into the stabbing of a man in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

West Midlands Police announced that the incident took place on High Street, Dudley, near the Caledonia chicken shop at around 3.30am, and saw a man rushed to hospital with injuries that aren't thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

A police investigation into the incident was quickly launched, with West Midlands Police establishing a blue tent and cordon around the scene.

Now, shoppers have described their shock at the early morning stabbing, with many saying that 'it's too common' to see the blue investigation tents.
