Man, 29, charged with 10 shop thefts across Bilston and Tipton
A suspected shop thief is due in court charged with 10 shop thefts across Sandwell and Wolverhampton.
It comes after West Midlands Police detained a 29-year-old man in Pinfold Street, Bilston, on Thursday morning, after they were alerted to a theft at a nearby shop.
Timothy Lydon has been charged with 10 thefts from stores and shops in Bilston and Tipton, including one where items worth £270 were stolen.

Lydon, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court today.
A force spokesperson said: "A suspected shop thief is heading to court today, charged with 10 crimes after being arrested in Bilston.
"Officers detained a 29-year-old man in Pinfold Street yesterday morning after we were alerted to a theft at a nearby shop.
"Timothy Lydon has been charged with 10 thefts from stores and shops in Bilston and Tipton, including one where items worth £270 were reported stolen.
"Lydon, of no fixed address, is due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today.
"Our work to tackle shop thefts continues as part of the Winter of Action to create town centres where businesses thrive, and communities feel secure."
