Six people due at Wolverhampton Magistrates over County Lines drug offences across West Midlands

Six people have been charged as part of an ongoing investigation into a county lines operation stretching as far as Northamptonshire.

Luke Adams, Wiktoria Gajda, Liam Hickman, Connor Reed, Kyle Sherbourne and Ben Simpson were due to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Friday after being charged with supplying Class A and conspiracy to supply Class A.

West Midlands Police said the six, who are from across Sandwell, Walsall and Corby, were arrested in the Corby area, with a large amount of cash and suspected Class A drugs seized.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Six people have been charged in connection with County Lines drug offences in the West Midlands.

"The six, aged between 18 and 23, are all due in court after they were arrested as part of an ongoing operation by our County Lines Taskforce.

"Luke Adams, Wiktoria Gajda, Liam Hickman, Connor Reed, Kyle Sherbourne and Ben Simpson were all charged with supplying Class A and conspiracy to supply Class A.

"All six, from across Sandwell, Walsall and Corby, have been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton today.

"Two further people were arrested and have been bailed while enquiries continue.

"This is after a series of arrests in the Corby area working alongside Northamptonshire Police.

"In addition, a large amount of cash and suspected Class A drugs were seized."
