Dramatic moment wanted man attempted to escape arrest only to be caught by Dudley police dog
Dramatic images released by West Midlands Police have shown the moment a wanted man attempted to make a break for it, but was chased and caught by a police dog.
The images showed the moment in Dudley where a man, upon being found by police, climbed out of a window and attempted to evade capture on Saturday (November 15).
But he was quickly caught with the assistance of heroic canine PD Bear and taken into custody.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police Dogs Unit said: "On Saturday in Dudley, officers were given a tip off about the whereabouts of a wanted man.
"He climbed out of a window and ran off, but with PD Bear & AD38 after him, he was never going to get far.
"42 teeth brings another one into custody."
