Dozens of cannabis plants recovered and a man arrested after warrant executed in West Bromwich
A man was arrested and dozens of cannabis plants discovered after an early morning raid on a Sandwell house.
Officers from Sandwell Police executed the warrant at a house on Cypress Gardens in Yew Tree in West Bromwich on Tuesday and found 60 cannabis plants and growing equipment, as well as finding that the electricity meter had been bypassed to power the grow.
A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity and has been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Sandwell Police said: "Dozens of cannabis plants have been recovered after officers executed a warrant at an address in Sandwell.
"On Tuesday morning, officers forced entry to an address on Cypress Gardens, Yew Tree.

"Inside, we found around 60 cannabis plants and growing equipment. The electricity meter had also been bypassed to power the grow.
"A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity.
"He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
