Man charged after hundreds of pounds of pet food stolen from Oldbury store

A man has been charged with shop theft after hundreds of pounds of pet food was stolen from an Oldbury store.

The theft took place last month from a store on the Oldbury Green Retail Park, with around £300 of food taken.

After police reviewed CCTV and interviewed witnesses, a man was arrested at West Bromwich Bus Station yesterday (Monday).

Carlton Fraser, aged 27 and from West Bromwich, has been charged with shop theft.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (Tuesday).
