Driver caught speeding over 100mph in Staffordshire told police 'It doesn't matter, I drive a 4x4'
An illegal BMW has been banned from the roads after being driven at over 100 miles per hour on the M6.
Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team stopped the vehicle and found that both rear tyres were below the legal limit, and that the front windows were heavily tinted.
In a post on X, Staffordshire Police said that after being stopped, the driver told officers: " It doesn’t matter about the 2 tyres because it’s a 4x4."

Police reported the driver, and issued a PG9 (a ban of a vehicle on the road).
