Seven arrests after stolen car police pursuits in West Midlands
A total of seven people were arrested during a West Midlands Police operation cracking down on burglaries, drug dealing and car thefts.
Officers from the force's road crime team made the arrests after pursuits across the region. The incidents included a grey BMW coming to rest in a hedge and an arrest made in connection with a burglary.
In a separate incident a white car overturned and in another incident drugs were seized.
The West Midlands Police road crime team posted on X: "@Trafficwmp arrest seven from five stolen cars in a week: there were two arrests from stolen car pursuit; burglary arrest from pursuit of BMW; two arrests from stolen car pursuit and a stolen car recovered; arrest from stolen car pursuit, drugs seized; burglary arrest from stolen car pursuit."
