The red and black machine was seized in Kingstanding in Birmingham after West Midlands Police received a tip-off that someone was trying to hide a bike just after 2pm on October 6.

Officers arrived quickly at the scene and managed to find the motorbike and inquiries found it had previously been reported stolen from the Staffordshire area.

It  has since been found and will be returned to the owner.

West Midlands Police said it appreciated getting information from the public which was vital in helping deal with crime.

Last week, officers recovered two more stolen bikes from an address in Sutton Coldfield as part of efforts to tackle motorbike crime and vehicle theft.
