Birmingham man charged with robbery, burglary and theft offences in Wolverhampton

A man has been charged with nine offences following a string of crimes in the Bilston area.

Kyle Nicholls was arrested on Sunday as investigators from West Midlands Police in Wolverhampton carried out enquiries into offences including a break-in at Bilston Library and a number of thefts where shop staff or members of the public reported being assaulted or spat at.

Nicholls, 39 from Birmingham, has been charged with three robberies, two thefts from a shop, one attempted theft from a shop, assault, burglary and threatening behaviour.

Nicholls was held in the cells overnight before appearing at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday, where he was remanded in custody until October 21 for a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
