Trial of former Kidderminster teacher accused of multiple sexual crimes with children begins
A trial of a former teacher at Wolverley High School accused of historic sexual offences, including rape, has started.
David Wilkinson, aged 77, now of Vinsac, Le Vigeant, France, is charged with historic sex offences dating back to the 1980s in Kidderminster.
Wilkinson is charged with several offences including eight counts of sexual assault of a child, two counts of rape and making an indecent photograph of a child.
The trial at Worcester Crown Court is being presided over by Her Honour Judge Seanin Gilmore.

The trial is set to last for six days and was previously adjourned in December last year due to the prosecution not being ready to proceed with the case.
Prosecuting, Michelle Heeley told the jury he "took a shine" to one of the complainants.
He started having long chats with her which then led on to having sex, the court was told.
Wilkinson would bombard her with calls and regularly have sex with her, the prosecution allege.
The court heard the girl believed the sex was consensual but was a child at the time.
A jury was shown videos of interviews of one of the complainants being interviewed by detectives.
She described Wilkinson sexually abusing her and seeing her regularly on her own inside and out of school.
The trial continues, Wilkinson denies all charges.
